🔒 Privacy at a Glance
1. Introduction
MunshiJi ("we," "our," or "us") is a product of Presgraphics (MuneemJi). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our voice-powered CRM platform, including our web application, Android mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with the utmost care and transparency.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described herein, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, organization name, and password. If you sign up via Google SSO, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
2.2 Call Data
With your explicit permission, we record phone calls made through or connected to our Service. This includes call audio recordings, call duration, timestamps, caller and recipient phone numbers, and call metadata. Our AI processes these recordings to generate transcriptions, extract business-relevant data (such as names, requirements, budgets, timelines, and follow-up actions), and provide analytical insights.
2.3 CRM Data
We collect and store contact information, deal details, notes, tags, and other business data that you manually enter or that our AI extracts from call recordings.
2.4 Device and Usage Information
We automatically collect device type, operating system version, app version, IP address, browser type, pages visited, features used, interaction patterns, and crash/error logs to improve our Service.
2.5 Payment Information
If you purchase a paid plan, payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or UPI IDs on our servers. We only retain transaction IDs and billing history for invoice purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including AI-powered transcription, data extraction, and CRM functionality
- To process and complete transactions and send related information including billing confirmations
- To send you service-related communications, updates, security alerts, and support messages
- To train and improve our AI models for better transcription accuracy and data extraction — using aggregated, anonymized data only
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities
- To personalize your experience and provide tailored recommendations
- To generate aggregated, anonymized analytics about platform usage and performance
4. Call Recording & Consent
Important: Call recording laws in India require that at least one party to the conversation consents to the recording. By using our call recording feature, you confirm that you have the legal right to record the calls and have obtained necessary consent from the other parties where required by applicable law.
We strongly recommend informing all parties at the beginning of each call that the conversation is being recorded. MunshiJi provides tools to help ensure compliance. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable call recording laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
5. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored in secure data centers located within India. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- AES-256 encryption for data at rest
- TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit
- Multi-factor authentication for team accounts
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
- Strict access controls with role-based permissions
